The Resonator is an active string instrument designed and made in Melbourne by Mike Lillis. A cross between a sitar and a spring reverb, it behaves as both an instrument and an effect.
The Resonator's hybrid nature opens up many possibilities for music and composition. Either as a prominent driving force or an ambient drone, the Resonator adds rich overtones and sonic glue to music production.

Free hire of prototype 6.0 continues until launch of the presale campaign set for mid September. Feedback from studio and live testing by local musicians and producers will help with the final design iterations while I plan the presale and promotion and finalise the production process.
