The Resonator is an active string instrument designed and made in Naarm Melbourne by Mike Lillis. A cross between a sitar and a spring reverb, it behaves as both an instrument and an effect.
The Resonator's hybrid nature opens up many possibilities for music and composition. Either as a prominent driving force, an ambient drone or a resonant tonal reverb the Resonator adds rich overtones and sonic glue to music production.
