The Resonator is an active string instrument designed and made in Naarm Melbourne by Mike Lillis. Any amplified sound source can be sent to the Resonator where the hand made 100w drivers vibrate the strings which respond in a spacious textural drone.
It can be used as an instrument in its own right, as a responsive drone accompaniment or a resonant tonal reverb.Â
